Digital Marketing and Design Training
Here are some common questions answered before you book your training.
Training sessions are held at my home office in Nambucca Heads, providing a relaxed and focused learning environment.
What platform or software is the website built on?
I’m sorry, but there are no refunds. Once a booking is confirmed, I reserve that time exclusively for you and cannot take on other client projects. All bookings are non-refundable, and payment must be made upfront through the shopping cart system on this page.
However, if you can’t make the allotted time and give at least 7 days’ notice, we can reschedule your training session to another suitable time.
No prior skills are needed. The training is step-by-step and designed for beginners.
Yes. If you’re unable to attend, one of your staff members can take part in the training on your behalf.
Sessions usually take around 4 hours, with 15 to 20 minutes for morning tea.
If it’s on the same topic, we can discuss tailored training sessions for you to fill in any gaps in your skills. And of course you can choose any other module we have available, and we are happy to train you on that as well.

- Your own computer or laptop — this training can’t be done on a tablet or phone
- For the website module, I’ll spin up a ready-to-go WordPress site on a temporary domain before you arrive, complete with the theme and all pro plugins you’ll need. These feature-rich tools are included at no extra cost for as long as you remain a hosting customer.
It’s also important to have your brand colours or colour palette ready. If you don’t have these yet, it’s best to complete the Canva training module first so you can establish your brand kit before moving on to the website module.
Yes. By the end of each module, you’ll have created real assets — posts, newsletters, or web pages — and the skills to continue on your own.

Canva for Small Business Marketing
In four half-days from 9:30 to 12:30 over a two-week period, we will build:
- Static post templates for single and carousel Facebook and Instagram Posts.
- A video template for Facebook and Instagram Stories.
- Your brand kit (Canva Pro only).
- From this point forward, creating content will be a breeze.
- You will achieve brand consistency, which leads to brand recognition.
- You will enjoy creating content in Canva, which is a wonderful tool.
How to Use ChatGPT for Business
In a practical 2 hour training session, you’ll learn how to use ChatGPT more effectively for real business tasks.
Training can be held at my home office in Nambucca Heads for $150, or at your location for $225 if you are between Coffs Harbour and Macksville.
You’ll learn how to:
- Write better prompts and give clearer instructions.
- Use Projects to organise work around a goal.
- Use ChatGPT for research and learning.
- Brainstorm ideas and solve business problems.
- Improve writing for emails, quotes, web pages, and content

BYOW
Build your own website
In two half‑day sessions from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM over one week you will build a one‑page website. Alternatively, in five half‑day sessions over two weeks (9:30 AM–12:30 PM), you can build a three‑page website plus a blog.
- One-page website: $390.
- 3-page website plus a blog = $690
- We will help you design each page.
- Show you how to collaborate with Chat GPT to build out the content.
- Pro versions of the WordPress theme and plugins to be used will be included at no extra charge while you remain a hosting customer of ours.
- Website Hosting is required and provided at $30/month.
- We will build the website with a temporary domain that will be replaced when you finish your site, with your own domain name.

Newsletter Marketing
In three sessions: the first session is one hour to set up your account, followed by two half‑day sessions from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- You will need an existing website.
- You need access to the domain name settings (DNS) for your domain name.
- You’ll need to purchase a MailerLite plan. Pricing here. This will be what we organise on day one of your training (One Hour) and can take 48 hours to be approved.
- Most small businesses can start on the “Growing Business” plan.
- We can then move onto building your first campaign, designing templates, and creating sign-up forms.
- We’ll also show you how to read the key metrics so you can confidently manage and improve results.
