Google Business
Profile Optimisation
This is one of the most important digital assets your business can develop. Your GBP will form a large part of your digital foundation, identity, and presence.
It’s like the old phone book, but on steroids. Much more powerful with features that allow people to interact with your business immediately.
Be found on Google when someone searches for your service + your town.
Be found when someone searches for your business name.
Be found on Google Maps.
You can connect your website to your GBP.
Collect and display reviews from customers. This, on its own, will convert more customers for your business.
Google search is important to gain new customers and do more business with your existing customers. People search Google for professional services. If you’re not there, you can’t benefit.
It may surprise you how many of your existing customers search for your business—online.
Local SEO
Local Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is an effective way to market your local business online in the organic search results. It helps your businesses promote services to local customers at exactly the time they’re looking for them.
People search for what they want on Google. They are not browsing; they are specifically searching for something. They’re hot prospects.
Searches for information about a location, your business, product, or service.
Questions are typed into Google every day; if you have the answer, you stand to get the business.
You can target different search terms in different areas.
Local SEO connects you to other local businesses with links to and from other local websites.
Once we establish your listings, which can take up to 90 days, they will be a constant source of new leads and potential business.
Google Advertising
Google advertising is one of the best ways to start advertising online. Search advertising is quick. Once we do the research and create the advert and press the start button, your advert can be on Google within 24 hours.
These adverts are simple, text adverts that comprise a heading and your offer.
Unlike Local SEO, publishing your advert can be on Google within hours.
You only pay when someone clicks on your advert which sends them to your website.
You are in total control of your budget. You can limit the amount you are prepared to pay each day.
We track your adverts, so you know what works, and what doesn’t.
You can change your adverts fairly quickly, making this type of advertising very responsive.
Social Media Advertising
Social media advertising is great for keeping your product/services at the top of your potential customers’ minds. When they constantly see your adverts, they’ll notice your business. When they need what you have, they’ll think of you and know where to find you.
YouTube
Social Media is great at getting people’s attention but not great at keeping it. That’s why our strategy takes people to your website to offer your products and services, where there is less distraction.
We can design image adverts or video adverts. We recommend quick video adverts of 15 seconds or less.
Email Marketing
Imagine being in business for five years, collecting everyone’s emails, with their permission, of course. Now, every time you push the send button, you connect with hundreds or thousands of people. You sell your goods and services. People share your email with others and you sell more. Now imagine not collecting emails for all that time? It’s never too late to start.

Video makes up 80% of web traffic.
Adding video to emails boosts click-through rates 200 to 300%.
Embedding videos in landing pages increases conversions by 80%.
90% of customers say product videos help them purchase.

Track/Analyse
Tracking and analysing your website traffic and online advertising campaigns may sound like a pretty dry subject, but it is the bedrock of digital marketing and it’s what sets digital marketing apart from marketing that uses traditional media to get your businesses message across.
Knowing what to track and analyse can provide your business with opportunities you may have never have thought existed. Tracking important metrics also reduces waste. Waste of your money and time.
The list below is not exhaustive. This just gives you an idea of the tools we can use to make your advertising campaign as successful as possible.
Tracking Local SEO
& Website Traffic
Without an analytics package on your website; you are effectively flying blind. You won’t know what’s working and what isn’t? Which channels are providing you with good traffic and which aren’t?
Connect Google Search Console.
Connect Google Analytics
Setup Dashboard for Data Analysis and Reports
Track Users, User Engagement and Conversions.
Setup UTM (trackable) links for Google Business Profile
See what your website visitors do on your site. What do they find interesting?
What social media channels are sending you the most traffic?
What services or products hold the most interest or provide you with the most conversions?
Which links did they click on? Is there a pattern? Are some links more clicked on than others? Why?
Is there a new source of traffic coming from another local business, website, or social media post?
There is much more you can see from your analytics, which we are happy to discuss with you.
Tracking Newsletter Mail-outs & Email Marketing
How do you know how well, or poorly, your emails are received if you don’t measure each mail out campaign? Here are a few metrics we recommend our clients to track.
Open Rate, track the percentage of email recipients that open your email.
Click Through Rate (CTR), track the number of unique clicks on your email relative to the number of email recipients.
Bounce Rate, this refers to undeliverable emails. Either the email no longer exists or it’s the wrong email address. There are hard and soft bounces. There is more to this that we are happy to discuss with you.
Unsubscribe rate the number of email recipients that unsubscribe from your email send-outs. There could be several reasons for this, but it’s a good metric to track, as it’s like the canary in the coal mine.
Click-to-open-rate (CTOR). How engaging is your email? If they are not clicking on the links in your email, we have strategies to help.
Conversion Rate, If you are in business, you are not sending out emails just for information alone. You want the recipient to make an enquiry, booking, checkout or sell a product. We can track all this as your conversion rate.
Tracking Social Media Advertising
When spending money on advertising, it’s important to track the right metrics. This comes standard with our social media advertising hub component.
Social Media Reach: How many people does your business advert get in front of?
Engagement: How many people are interacting with your advert? Things like: comments, shares, likes, clicks, and saves.
Click Through Rate (CTR): How many people click your advert and land on your website?
Conversion Rate: This is unique to each business, but your advert is trying to get people to do something: book your service, buy your product, etc. This measures what percentage of people end up doing what you want them to.
There are a few more metrics that we are happy to discuss with you, but you get the idea. Many things can be tracked to check what works and what doesn’t?
Tracking Google
Search Advertising
There are various forms of Google advertising, search, display, YouTube, etc. Some of the metrics we used to track Search Advertising are below. Tracking these metrics ensures your campaign is continually optimised for the best return on your investment (ROI).
Cost Per Acquisition: Return On Ad Spend (ROAS). Are you getting what you need out of the campaign and is it profitable?
Click Through Rate (CTR): What percentage of the traffic seeing your advert is clicking on your adds and is this done at a profitable rate?
Conversion Rate: What percentage of the people clicking on your adverts are meeting the goal we set, bookings, enquires, sales, etc.
These metrics and others are tools we use to continually improve your advertising. Even if the results are good, they can be improved upon.
